Career Coaching

I help passionate and committed creatives overcome career blocks by creating the space, perspectives and strategies that lead to a more fulfilling future.

Why do creatives need career coaching?

We live in an increasingly unpredictable and complex world. For creatives the boundary between life and work is often fluid. Problems in one area can have ripple effects in many others. Often working independently and navigating multiple roles we can lack an objective, encouraging space to reflect on our experience and create the insights that allow for pivotal shifts in how we develop more meaningful, fulfilling and sustainable careers.

All of which can leave us asking;

“Where am I exactly? Where do I want to be and how do I want to get there?”

Career Coaching can help you:

  • Find clarity on your career direction.

  • Balance the competing demands of a creative life.

  • Uncover the blindspots in your professional development.

  • Make career decisions with confidence.

  • Become more self-aware and resilient.

  • Navigate through career shifts and transitions.

  • Work through creative and professional blocks.

  • Challenge limiting thought patterns that leave you stagnating.

  • Redefine what you do to become more of who you are.

  • Explore new ways of moving your career to the next level.

  • Get to the core of what’s stopping you moving ahead.

Why I coach?

“I want you to feel confident and capable of creating a career which is more meaningful and fulfilling.”

I believe that the world needs art and artists (even if it can be slow to admit it). I also believe that pursuing art professionally shouldn’t mean a career spent struggling; feeling powerless or unsatisfied. Society has many cracks for creatives to fall through and it can often feel like our professional success lies ultimately in the hands of others. Coaching allows you the time to reclaim your natural confidence and re-engage with your creative potential. By having the space to reflect on what truly matters to you, what’s really getting in your way and what’s needed next, you can create new ways forward which are more effective and empowering. In a world that often puts the needs of artists last, I love nothing more than facilitating a powerful process which allows you to put your career and your fulfilment first.
